Oh my word what an incredible wedding this was. I don’t often venture much South of Chester but when I do its always epic. This was the first wedding I shot after my own and it couldn’t have been a better one to return to. Set in the Cotswolds Talton Lodge oozes cool. The mediterranean summer that year turned the stately home and gardens into something more at home on the French riviera and the tipi tent and surroundings was like a golden retreat. Kelly and Rich didn’t want the traditional wedding in the sense they were legally married the day before and then opted for an intimate humanist wedding with their friends and family the following day. This consisted of drinking wine and tying the knot. It also happened to be the day we beat the Swedes in the World Cup to which I spied only very few phones keeping tabs.Instead everyone was having far too much fun. The highlight however was an impromptu first dance at sunset outside to one of their pals playing a concertina.
